Stable Versions

Development Versions

Note: Development versions are updated as changes are made, and are not well tested. There is no guarantee that versions from different operating systems have the same features implemented.

Supplementary Files

  • Coastline data [tar.gz] [zip] (8.5 Mb) Platform independent coastline data files, required for vector generated coastline overlays.
  • Logo graphics [tar.gz] [zip] (10 kb) Logo PNG files, required for exporting PDF documents (version 0.6a-2 and later).

Installation

Unix: Gunzip and untar the installation files. Place the CDAT executable anywhere in the user's path. Place the coastline data files in the user's $HOME/.cdat directory.

Windows: For first time installation, make sure to download both the Windows executable and DLL zip files. Unzip the installation files and place the CDAT executable in its own directory, for example C:\CDAT. Place the coastline data files in the same directory. Copy the DLL files into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM on Windows 9x/ME or C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 under Windows NT/2000.
