Biography

Jackson Hergenrather is a support scientist supporting CoastWatch Central Operations as a RIVA contractor. Mr. Hergenrather has an MS in Physics from George Washington University, a BS in Physics and a minor in Mathematics from James Madison University. He has co-authored two academic publications; the first regarding the wave nature of light-matter interaction, and the second regarding pion and η electroproduction. He lent his expertise to the commercial sector before joining CoastWatch. Jackson applies his skills in multiple programming languages, big data and machine learning, statistical and analytical techniques, and quantum computing to the CoastWatch Central Ops team.
