The netcdf files contain 4 variables: latitude, longitude, snow depth and Snow Water Equivalent in cm. 
The latitude and longitde values, as described in the file, represent the upper left corner of the 0.04 deg
grid cell. The snow depth and SWE outputs are gridded at 0.04 deg resolution on a global basis. 

The file name is SnowdepthSWE_YYYYDDD.nc
where YYYY is the year and DDD is the day of year.
The processing consists of blending GMASI 4-km snow cover data, SSMIS-based snow depth data and in-situ snow depth
date from GHCN-Daily. SWE is estimated from an algorithm which uses the blended snow depth and ancillary data as inputs.
