Directory contains snow depth reports from ground-based stations of various networks

Subdirecvtories:
 cocorahs_snow_depth    : Snow depth reports from CoCoRAHS stations
 ghcn_snow_depth        : Snow depth reports acquired from GHCN-D dataset of NCEI (mostly SYNOP and USCoop stations)
 gts_snow_depth         : Snow deph data from SYNOP and METAR reports transmitted via GTS data stream and acquired at NOAQA NWS TGFTP server
 mcidas_ncep_snow       : Snow depth data acquired from McIDAS (mostly SYNOPS) and from NCEP (US Coop stations)
 nohrsc_snow_depth_swe  : Snow depth, SWE reports mostly from SNOTEL stations
 
 Format of daily data files as well as the data source are provided in aaa_readme files in subdirectories 
 
 All collected archives except GHCN-D are supposed to be updated 2-3 times during the day. GHCND dataset is updated on a weekly basis
      since the source GHCN-D dataset at NCEI is updated irregularly.  
 
 Data files may overlap, i.e., the same data may appear in different datasets. Check for duplicate records !
 
 No quality control of the data is applied. Data are provided as they appear in the source datasets
